New Parents!

Whether you are considering Cedar Mill Elementary for your child or have already enrolled we want to welcome you to our Cedar Mill community. Once you have a child attending Cedar Mill, you are automatically a member of the Cedar Mill Parent Teacher Club (PTC)!

In addition to the school and district resources we hope to provide you with helpful information, as well as opportunities for you to learn about the PTC become involved in your child’s school experience.

We recommend: 

ALL incoming students
Make sure you take the required documents to the school office after you have completed online enrollment. 

  • Proof of address
  • Proof of identity

Complete a volunteer application and background check. Some school activities require the background check in order for you participate even if you are not an active volunteer. 

(and if you have other family members that would also like to volunteer)

  • a calendar of PTC sponsored events
  • descriptions of committees and general volunteer opportunities
  • information on fundraising and PTC spending
  • contact information for the PTC board, school, and Student Stop (a non-PTC after school care program)

Plus if you have an incoming Kindergartener,
  • attend the kindergarten round up in Feb prior to enrollment.
  • participate in PTC sponsored summer playdates with other incoming kindergarteners.
