Art Literacy

Art Literacy is a district-wide “artist-in-a-box” program. Five times a year parent volunteers present lessons on an artist, along with a related art project. You don’t have to be an artist or art historian to participate. If you would like to help contact Colleen Lay and Sue Martinez.

Family Activities and Events

In the past the PTC has offered some fun events at the school like: Back to School BBQ, Movie Nights, Sock Hop and the Carnival. We will be offering fun events like this again this year!

Science Fair

All Cedar Mill students are invited to participate in the Cedar Mill Science Fair, either individually or in groups.  Every student participant will receive a certificate and will automatically become eligible to be a future world renowned scientist! This year the fair will be held April 20. For ideas, check out Science Buddies.

The Student Stop is a non profit School-Age Care Program which has served Cedar Mill Elementary School Since 1992.  The Student Stop offers a  fun and safe environment for your child and, additionally,  offers parents affordable rates and  flexible scheduling.
