Employee Matching: Check if your employer offers matching funds.  Many companies such as Intel, Synopsys, etc.. Will match some or all of your donation. Intel also donates $10 for each hour employees volunteer.

Year Round Activities:

Prepaid Shopping Cards: Throughout the school year, we will be offering parents the chance to purchase gift cards for their favorite stores.  With the purchase of these cards, Cedar Mill receives a percentage of the purchase.  So look for stores you regularly shop at or like to give gift cards for and you will help Cedar Mill in the process.  These cards are also great holiday and teacher’s gifts.  Chair Lead:  Kristen Haslebacher

New Shopping Card Schedule!

 

Escrip: Register your loyalty cards online and a portion of the sale go directly back to our school.   Safeway is running a special 10% donation for back to school and all you have to do is register your card at   www.escrip.com, Group ID # 8561238. Chair Lead: Steve Roesch

Sally Foster Online: Back by popular demand, we have opened up Sally Foster Online all year long.  For those of you that love their products, you can now purchase them throughout the year with our online store.  As always, Cedar Mill will benefit from all purchases made.  Enter Cedar Mill’s School ID: 276067. Register your student under the Seller Section. There are tools to personalize emails to friends and family to ask for their support. Chair Leads:  Shannon Wright and Katie Wiley

Box Top Collection: We will continue to collect box tops from each student.  This program will run Sept through May.  Please remember to save your box top labels from your grocery purchases and send them to school with your child. Chair Lead:  Chad Reese

 

Family Dine-Out Events: We will continue to do family dine-out nights at selected restaurants, ice cream parlors, and entertainment sites.  If you go to one of these establishments on our selected date and let them know you are with Cedar Mill, a portion of their sales that night will go directly to our school.  We will update you monthly on these activities.   Chair Lead:  Debbie Gisler

 

Valley Cinema: We will be selling discounted ticket packages in the Fall and Spring to the Valley Cinema Family Matinee program. Chair Lead: Leslie Swinford

Fall 2011 Activities:

Fun Run: This event has been wildly successful in the past.  Students collect pledges to run a certain distance.  It is a fun and healthy way to kick the year off. Date:  Friday, September 30, 2011.  Chair Leads:  Amanda Price, Lindsay Deveaux and Jane Kim Receipt

 

Cookie Dough Sales: This year we wanted to continue with our cookie dough sale although we have upgraded the quality of our cookie dough.  We will have the official kickoff Monday, October 21 and sales will run through Friday, November 4, 2011.  Cookie Dough will be delivered on Dec 7.  Chair Leads:  Shannon Wright and Katie Wiley

 

Winter 2011-12 Activities:

Cedar Mill Sweatshirt Sales: We will once again be selling Cedar Mill Tshirts and Sweatshirts. Chair Lead: Tina McCoy and Debbi Marshall

 

Coin Corral: We will be launching our first spare change drive and it will run for two weeks during Winter Session.  Chair Lead: Shannon Wright and Katie Wiley

 

Spring 2012 Activities:

Carnival Raffle Baskets: Each classroom will build a themed basket to be raffled off at our end of the year Carnival June 8, 2012. Chair Leads: Shannon Wright and Katie Wiley
